PC Dale Hathaway (visit main info page here) I’m PC Dale Hathaway, one of three Beat Officers for Camberley Town Centre. I started this role in February 2009 after taking a career break from the Police where I travelled around the world for a year. I experienced so many things, had a great time and hope that my time away will assist me in Policing. I have been a Police Officer since 2001 and have been involved in several areas of Policing, including the response team, investigation team, the Police Support Unit, the Chemical Response Team and Neighbourhood Policing, where I was the Beat Officer for the Old Dean Estate in Camberley. I like the old style of Policing and enjoy being a “Bobby on the Beat”. Please feel free to call me or stop me in the street if you have any Police related issues. I'm PCSO Gary Slater and I am your local Police Community Support Officer for the area, I joined Surrey Police on January 5th 2009, before my appointment with Surrey Police I worked at Frimley Park Hospital Porterting/Secuirty services. My role is to provide high visibility patrols, reduce the crime in the area and tackle anti social behaviour. I am a massive boxing fan and I am a huge fan of Ricky Hatton, I have been to various fights including, the MEN Area in Manchester and MGM Grand, Las Vegas. I used to box myself in at a local boxing club but having to move house I had to finish however I do hope to get back in the ring asap.
PC Samir Lama-Tamang (visit main info page here) My name is Samir Lama Tamang and I am the beat officer for St Pauls area and
Camberley Town. I joined the Surrey Police in 2006.
Before joining the Police, I was in the army serving with Brigade of Gurkhas for 16 years.
I am here to help you with any issues or concerns that you may have within our community.
My role is to provide reassurance, reduce crime and the fear of crime by providing high visibility patrols and dealing proactively with offences to improve the quality of life for local residents. Please feel free to contact me any time.
Andrew Riley (visit main info page here) My name is Andrew Riley and I am the PCSO for Camberley Town Centre. I joined Surrey Police in February 2005. My role is to provide high visibility reassurance patrols, reduce crime and the fear of crime and tackle antisocial behaviour. I work closely with the local residents, shops, businesses, schools and the pubs. I am a point of contact for any issues or concerns you may have. I will be working alongside the Town NSO, PC Lee Chamberlain.

PC Gary Chennells (visit main info page here) I am 26, and have been a police officer for six years, during which time I have held positions on the Divisional Crime Investigation Team, Targeted Patrol Reponse Team, and have now taken on new challenges as part of the Neighbourhood Specialist department. During my spell in the response department, I performed duties as acting sergeant on numerous occasions, as well as making around 200 arrests. I am enthusiastic in my role, and have ambitions to progress through the ranks during the course of my career.
I am a keen football fan, having previously played for both Camberley Town and the Surrey Police side. I was part of the police team who won against the Macedonian national side in 2006, scoring a hat trick in the national stadium at Skopje. During time off from work I can often be found at the gym, and I enjoy keeping fit and healthy.
