REVIEW
MINISTRY OF SOUND,
LONDON 21.08.04
"OUCH"
By Steve (Camberley On The Net)
Well
it was the first Ministry trip we have done
and what a scorcher! After proponing the
trip to a later date due to complaints from
people that they will be on holiday (alright
for some!). So to keep all happy the date
was moved to August and that definately turned
out to be a good idea. The first thing you
notice about Ministry is that although they
are one of the most well known nightclub
brands on the planet, they havnt let that
fact go to their heads. The staff definately
added to what was a brilliant night.
"CAUTION EXCESSIVE
SOUND LEVELS"
One
thing that is most impressive is the
sound system. Even when you are not
dancing, you ARE DANCING! Forget goose
bumps, your hair pretty much stands
on its end. "CAUTION EXCESSIVE
SOUND LEVELS"! NO S**T!. Certainly
helps the atmosphere to have a decent
sound system and Ministry pulls it
of with such ease. With three rooms
of superb music you are spoilt for
choice when it comes to your own music
style preference.
Time
moved seamlessley when you are there and its
not hard to see why they are open until 7am.
But being so far away we had no choice but to
leave at a still worthy time of 4am (well 5am!
cheers "Mike The Coach Driver"!)
Great
feedback from all that went put the cherry
on the cake. A big thankyou to Phil Sales
and Andrew Blackett from Ministry and also
a big thankyou to everyone that came and
showed their support... until next time....
